Post How To: Install a Twin headlight Module unit.

Written By NINJASUZ

You need to get a Twin Headlight module unit from
www.twinheadlight.com
I emailed them and requested a Paypal invoice for a unit.
(This was the easiest way).
This the module that you receive.

HOW TO:
Start by removing both upper inner fairings

[IMG][/IMG]
Next
Remove all 3 light plugs on the right side.( Low beam headlight, turn signal and city light).
[IMG][/IMG]
Remove High beam headlight plug and pull the wiring harness out on the left side to work on.
[IMG][/IMG]
Once you have the light wiring harness in your hand you need to cut back the tape on the Low beam side(wire in my fingers) so that you can get to the positive(BLUE) and negative(BLACK/YELLOW) wires.
[IMG][/IMG]
On the High beam side you need to cut the positive (RED/BLACK) wire about 10cm from the plug.
Now install the electrical connectors to either end on the wire you just cut.
Make sure that you put the correct connector on the right end. (female on the switch end)
Peel back the insulation on the low beam wires.
Now I soldiered the Blue wires together, then the Black and black yellow wires together from the Low beam light and the module.
[IMG][/IMG]
Now connect the connectors(orange to switch end) and tape everything up so nothing can earth out.
[IMG][/IMG]
Replace the light harness in its home position and connect all lights back up and wind up loose module wire and fasten with wire ties.
[IMG][/IMG]
Place module up so that you can get to the adjustment screw.
[IMG][/IMG]
Turn bike on and test the lights out, turn the adjustment screw till you get the lights the same.
[IMG][/IMG]
Replace the top inner fairings.

Job done...

Is it me or does it look like all that did was lessen the power of the bright and keep it on the whole time?. The beam to me looks the same, still blinding to oncoming traffic and people in front of you , just not as bright.
