Sorry fellas, I should have put some more info up. The 159 number was with a Muzzy slip-on, power commander, and KN air filter. The 171 was after I had a 3 mill kit done with head work and cams with a full Arata exhaust. Now that 171 doesn't sound good..... Damn. I was wanting Dwayne from Cycle Concepts to look at it.
I have had the engine apart a couple of times trying to find the problem and have yet to find anything wrong. The cams have been moved around but the 171 never changes. The only thing I haven't done was checked the timing on the bike. I am thinking something might have gone array with it therefore causing the bike to stay at that flat value. With cams and head work it should jolt up around 7 or 8k rpm. I'll post up my dad's dyno graph to give you an idea of what I was expecting. His dyno is on a ZX-12 bored to 1290cc with cams and headwork. Same engine builder did both engines. I have a gremlin in my bike I think. Anyways, I was wanting Dwayne to see if the 10's dyno had the horsepower line of what his builds do or not. |

something is definetly wrong. torque is good but it doesnt hold it into the high rpms, therefore its not going to make HP. On my bike the Hp never falls off all the way to the 13100 red line it is still going up. Are you sure the cam timing is right? did you put good valve springs in it?
