Alpinestars S-MX 2 riding boots are a low-cut performance street boot built with comfort and safety in mind. Now you can get most of the protection offered in a full-length road boot, without the ungainly appearance. Constructed with a full-grain leather outer shell, the boot has a shank that runs the length of the sole for rigidity along with a high-density plastic heel cup for safety. Up front, the toe box is reinforced and includes a tough PU cover sewn-in to stand up to miles of shifting on the road without wearing into the leather shell. There’s also a built-in toe slider for those of you that are a little more daring on the road.

With no shoelaces to get caught in moving parts, the boots have a Velcro and zipper enclosure mechanism aided by the large clamp on the outside below the shin to keep them securely attached to your feet. These boots come in three colors: black, black/red and white vented. There’s also a waterproof version in black.
