The Vector leather motorcycle jacket is essentially the upper half of an Alpinestars one-piece race suit. That’s because it’s made with 1.2-1.4mm full-grain leather with the best armor Alpinestars has to offer; CE-approved GP protectors in the elbows and shoulders. The shoulders are capped with Alpinestars patented S-MX high-modulus thermoplastic protectors which cover the critical seams in the shoulders for extra abrasion resistance and add another energy-dispersing quality to the shoulder armor. PE foam padding is used in the chest and back protector, the latter of which can upgraded with an RC back protector (also an Alpinestars item).


The Alpinestars Vector jacket is cut for an aggressive riding position that is well suited to modern sportbikes. Perforated leather on the chest and sides help move air around the body to keep you cool. The shoulder protectors and the GP-inspired back hump also aid in the cooling effect.
