The Racing Line system features stainless steel header and midpipe construction while the Evolution Line is all titanium. Both systems include mufflers with all-titanium internal construction and are otherwise identical in shape and pipe design. Both systems save weight and give Kawasaki a more efficient exhaust flow yielding improved throttle response. Akrapovic data from an un-tuned ZX6R reveals improved power output from 5,000 RPM all the way to redline with this system installed when compared to OEM. As measured on a SuperFlow dyno, in testing, the Akrapovic exhaust pumped out a maximum of 122 horsepower compared to the OEM exhaust’s 114 at the rear wheel.

This is the Akrapovic ZX6R Evolution Full System as it comes out of the box. Instructions and everything else needed for installation are included.


Exhaust headers are capped with CNC-machined spigots and flanges for a precise, leak-free attachment to the cylinder head.


We cannot speak highly enough of Akrapovic’s welding. Without the proper equipment, titanium welds become brittle and quickly fail. Our experience with these exhausts has proven over and over that Akrapovic knows what they’re doing.

All Akrapovic carbon fiber is made in-house. The exhaust is also available with a titanium sleeve muffler.


Lambda sensor bung comes pre-wired from the factory. Akrapovic even includes two different size threads to accept two different, common sensor thread sizes.
