We're all Zs. I'm your cousin, Z750S
I enjoy taking long trips on the bike. Going camping or hiking. A good bike to me is one that you can take a friend on and not feel like you've been wrung out by the end of the day of adventuring. I love my Z750S, but have yet to take it on a long trip. Later this summer I shall ride it up from San Luis Obispo, CA back to Seattle. Very flexible and responsive motor. Kawasaki Motors have made many fantastic bikes, each with its own flavor or intent. Race bike. Dirt Bike. Right now I'm fascinated by everyman's bike. Good looking engine. 50+mpg on the hi-way. Comfortable for two or tweakible to make it comfortable, without having to spend $1ks. Reliable like a freight train. A 600 Hornet. V-Strom. FZ6R. F650GS. Zephyr. There are so many great ones. But I'm not a racer. The power is something you pull out of your pocket at certain important moments like a sword yanked by the hand of a blind retired Samurai. Would like to become comfortable taking on more maintenance jobs for my two bikes, which are a Yamaha FZR6 and a Z750S Kawasaki. Would love to trade secrets, great rides, stories, advice and pictures. Count me in for a ride as long as we're not racing and we're not fighting against city traffic. Yikes!
