Cagger's 09 ZX-6R, newby

Hello

New member from Sydney Australia. Here is my 09 zx-6r. Ive done just over 20,000km's or 12,000 Miles. They are an awesome bike.

These are the mods:

-Michelin Power Pure's
-Shogun frame sliders
-Shogun Axle sliders
-Sato engine sliders
-LED indicators
-Fender eliminator
-Solo seat cowl
-Removed stickers
-Removed reflectors on front fender
-Akrapovic slip on exhaust
-Keiti tank protector

-------------------------

I am considering the following:

-Pazzo levers
-Akrapovic link pipe, to remove pre muffler box.
-Double bubble OR standard replacement tinted screen

My crash kit was Shogun, came with frame, bar ends, and swingarm sliders.

The only after market parts I'm thinking about right now are seat and screen.

Haven't gotten many miles yet, but summer is here. Ride safe.

Yeah, there is only like two threads in the main section. WTF is up with that? If you find a good ZX-6R forum, let me know, and I'll do the same.

Your thinking about an aftermarket double bubble or race screen? What do you think of a Sport tourer Zero-Gravity screen? I can't decide between DB or the ST wind screen.
I like how the Shogun sliders look on the bike, I think I'll buy them. Thanks for the pics.

Here's a photo of the 3 screens that zero gravity sell.
Sport Touring, Double Bubble, Standard. Thats obviously a zx10 but they look pretty much the same.


Im tossing up between the double bubble or the standard tinted one's. Dont like the touring one on a sportsbike. The double bubble is supposed to provide better wind protection.

Looks good. Mine's still pretty new but I've done most of the same things except the solo cowl and akropovic. I did add the Shogun double bubble or whatever they call theirs. Made a big difference for me (but I'm short so YMMV).

Im also considering a power commander. Anyone else tried one?

I haven't but I'm looking for cheapest price. The fueling stutters on mine at/around 10k rpm and it's really annoying.
Oh and for a cheap mod I found on the kawiforums.com (tons of info on mods there) I replaced my city/running lights with LEDs. $2 for 2! Didn't even have to remove the fairings and looks much better.
