Lube them and you'll be fine for a LOOONG time. My ZX-7 is 20 years old now and the cables on it are still good. That being said some have had clutch cable failures, but I think that was due either to not being lubed or defective cables.

Yup, Ive had to change my clutch cable on my 05 10R already.
Some last and some don't, luck of the draw I guess. ![]() Like Mr. Honeys said, lube em and they will last longer.
