To all the zx6r riders?

Hey whats up guys, I own a 09 10r right now and looking to get a 600 as my track/toy should I say, really wanting some feed back on how this new 09 zx6r is. speed,power,handling the works? I havent had a 600 in 5 years and havent riden one since, but the tracks down here my way I dont get out of 2 and 3 ever so I want something that I can run threw the gears on. Thanz my friends!!ccasion1

Actually you will be the 7th person that I know went from 1000 to 600s for track. I was tell that 600s wont wear-off tires so much and that are really easy to handle and curves.

As for my self, I went from 1000 Gixxer to ZX6R, reason being?... YES THE 600's handle Way Better, But then again this is my opion I might be wrong.

I have 08 zx10 and i'm looking for an 600 as well (most likely an older model 04-06). I would love to track my bike out but I just don't want to invest that much money into my "new addiction"... I've heard that the the 09 zx6r is a beast even comes with standard ohlins dampner... But if you looking for a track bike I had the chance to see the new 09 R6 and it was pretty sick!!! should check it out...

It is probably the best 600 you'll find for the track.

yeah I have had 2 sv650s's before and both were track bikes and I loved them but I want something with a little more power behind it when in those deep pockets you know. I went and looked though up in the show room and sat on a 09 zx6r and because I have the 09 10 it felt so little lol. but I think I might be able to get it out the door at 7800-8000 because I work there. great deal cause there losing money on the sale or breaking just at even. I know its like 9400 though on the sign lol. but who knows what I'll do. sleeping on it right now

I had an 03 ZX6RR and I could hold that thing at 9,000 rpm on 3rd and power out of sweeper all the way to redline, without worrying about tha tail sliding out. I just moved up to an 04 10R and even though I love my new ride, it scares the bijesus out of me sometimes... especially on those moments where I still ride it like my 6...

yeah I havent had a 600 in a couple of years not since the sv trio but yeah I just put a 2010 zx6r on hold for my self...looks like a 2009 zx10r and a 2010 zx6r in my house along with my r1 too...but we will just act like I didnt say I own a r1 hhaa

if you have the coin, absolutely get the new zx6r, but if you are gonna use a bike as a track hoe, get an 05-06 636. they have a really nice riding position, they are really available for a great price, there are many cheap aftermarket parts, and they have a little more grunt than the standard 600's of the time. i preferred my 636 for riding a road course more often than my old 10r.

The new 6R is the best 600 ever! It kills any 600 on the road and track even the 750!
