If you did it, how did you deal with the tapered forks?
I have 1 inch dogbones for the rear, and I'm trying to raise the forks an inch, but since the fork tubes are tapered I can only go so far. I would like to relocate the clip-ons above the top triple clamp to leave more room, but that means slightly longer brake lines. Is there a similar aftermarket dual brake line kit that's just 1 or 1.5 inch longer than stock? Thanks and rep for any good info!

You don't need longer brake lines, they should work fine with the clip-on's on top. You can also flip the clip-on's and turn them out some to make the seating posture a bit more vertical.

Well, I had another look at it. and I'm not convinced.
-- For the sake of clarity, I am talking about the stock (single) brake line. With the forks fully extended (i.e. with the bike supported by a jack under the exhaust) The stock brake line is just long enough. Raising the height of the clip-ons by placing them above the triple clamps would be dangerous. The next question is will aftermarket lines leave me more wiggle room?

You can lower all the way to the tapered part or even onto the tapered part. I lowered to the tapered area and then some and never have a problem with it.
