same here...05 model.it comes on round 200-205............do the best cooling mods and get a muzzy aluminum fan blade and flush n fill with ENGINE ICE........it will hover round 195-205 even in the traffic on hot days

That does sound a bit high to not have the fan kick on. Better check those connections and fuses. For the bike to reach that temp in the first place it's gotta be moving pretty slow or not at all, its damn hot outside or you got a problem with your fluid. I'd get it checked out for sure.

I checked the fan, connections and fuses and everything is working fine. Do you think the thermostat might be the problem? and how do set it up?

Also im planing to put a switch but i dont know where should i cut.
should i cut the solid blue and black wires or the 2 tone wires as you can see in the pictures.

My 05RR comes on somewhere between 115-120. I did however, switch the oe fan with a muzzys for $35 and it is cooling the engine much faster. If the bike gets too hot "TEMP" will flash on your gauges... One of my fan blades was caught on the radiator causing it to not spin and the TEMP thing came on. All good now
