how do I do the wire mod?

I just picked up an 08 zx-6 for a great deal. and I keep hearing about this wire mod. can any one tell my how to do it. and what kind of wire I will need. also what is the kleen air mod for a zx-6? does it involve block off plates like my 14 did?
