Default ZX10R Throttle bodies on 03 RR

Has anyone put ZX10 throttle bodies on their ZX6 or know where to get bigger throttle bodies?

Well I am going to figure out the wiring and linkage set-up. I have both wiring diagrams for both bikes (03 ZX6RR/05 ZX10R) to get correct readings for the FI System for air delivery sensors. Both harnesses and ZX10R TBs on the way. If anyone is interested please let me know so I don't waste time with updates.

To achieve 100% VE @ 16000rpm (est max rpm) this engine requires 169.51cfm which comes out to 42.38 cfm/cyl......ZX10R throttle bodies are 43mm

Any thoughts? Good, bad, indifferent?

I have not done any of the calculations but, am thinking that the 16,000 RPM is very optimistic for actual RPM. For instance on my 05RR 15,500 indicated on the tach is actually closer to 14,000. Unless your bike is going to be heavily modded, perhaps increasing displacement, I do not know how beneficial the larger throttle bodies will be for you.

I found a link to dyno charts comparing 04zx6rr to the 05zx6rr in stock form.

more air, more fuel, more power right? 16,000 might be optimistic but 15,500 for sure because I had my bike dyno tuned and my peak hp was at 14,875 with the rpm falling of at 15,450

I've got an 03 RR as well... if this mod works, it's like discovering kryptonite.
I'm not sure if I would do it though, but the fact that it could be done would
be in the back of my head... :helmet:
