Default 07 zx6r front sprocket

Does anyone know what is the tooth count on the front and rear stock sprockets on a 07 zx6r. After all the mods I have done for power now I need to put it to the pavement. I want to start by going down on the front sprocket by 1 tooth. Also has anyone ever changed one on this bike and how long does it take. Any and all input would be great.
Thanks.

....just did the mod. The stock is a 520, 16T sprocket. Mine was about a purple bastard to get off; my 1/2" impact had a tough time of it.

If you have all the right tools (punch & chisel , hammer, good impact, deep socket) and it all goes like it should, the mod should only take about 30 minutes (including clean-up).

g'luck!

also the chain is a 525 stock! I would recommend not worrying about changing the chain or the rear sprocket. dropping a tooth in the front sprocket is a very popular mod. So buy yourself a 16 tooth front sprocket for a 525 chain, and be careful. You'll also need a speedo healer in the future, approximately $100? I would do some reading on this sight. some sprockets can make noise, others come with a rubber gasket like the stock one..? this is vague but if you research all topics will be covered.

Thanks for all the info. google seems to be no help with finding a good place to buy performance parts online. have been to the common ones like kneedragers.com and so on any ideas.

I just picked up an 07 zx6r for the track. Also did the sprocket change and went to an xw chain. The best place to find them is on ebay. They are about 149.99 shipped. They also include any size sprocket you want and they are vortex.
