Default Akrapovic exhaust for the '09s

The conical canister looks really good. By the hard numbers:

1) 16.5 lbs loss for EVO Ti system
2) +8 hp gain, 122 rwhp peak :eyecrazy:
3) Midrange torque gained from 5k+ is impressive.

Why the fall off of power with the Akra after 12k and not the stock exhaust?

That's the torque curve that falls off at 12k, which is normal, when you get close to the peak hp. The power curve pulls to 14k.

There are a few guys on the site with that exhaust, the can will fit on 04-05 Akra systems as well, I am thinking about getting a can for my 04.

I wonder how much more HP will be added with a Power Commander or Bazzaz unit with a fresh map. :eyecrazy:
