Default Camera tank mount

Just in case anybody's looking for one, I just bought one for my bike. It should be arriving at my door within the week. I'll let you guys know what I think of the mount. Here's the link:mrgreen:

Do they have any that are not tank mount? I was looking for a slider mount. Maybe a bullet cam that could be wired to a tank mounted storage system.

I have one and it works pretty well. I looks out straight through the windscreen. I think this helps protect it from any rocks or crap coming at you. I did add an 1/8" pad between the camera and the mount to soften vibrations. Im pretty happy with mine. I wouldn't recommend a side mount one because if you go down, there goes the camera. With this one it is on top of the tank. Unless the bike flips over a few times the camera is still ok in a slide.

I only wish I had bought this sooner. It shows your speed and a clear view of what's in front. Minimal if any vibration. The camera was steady. Just tighten every once in a while I guess. It's winter up here in toronto now so I only had the chance to use it for the 1-day. A buddy of mine bought the same mount for his bike and we exchanged cameras so my camera shows me, and his camera shows him... pretty cool, we just took turns leading, and whoever was following turned on the camera. I just wish the weather was warmer cause we looked like we were wimping out on the turns taking the twisties slow... the grip on the tires were very minimal since the roads were cold and so were the tires. Oh well, there's next year. ale:

I'd say this would really be a good tool at the track, one can really see the full view of the rider in front of you. Heck even a group ride of about 6 bikes
will be captured in the video. There were 4 of us riding street and everyone was in clear view. The only time the other bikes were out of range is when there's a drastic elevation change or really tight bends. As for the track for next season, the plan is to swap cameras again... can't waitccasion1
