Default "PLUG AND PLAY" Projector Retrofitting System: Product R&D Request

We're looking for people with CBRs, R6s (non projector headlight) and ZX-6R/6RRs (non projector headlight).

Our R&D department are looking for a few riders who are willing to drop their bikes off at our factory to R&D our "plug and play" Projector Retrofitting System. Turnaround time is approximately 1 week.

As an incentive, you'll not only receive a free product that has not yet been released to the public, you'll also receive a free HID system as well!

We're located in Southern California.

The field tech and I finally finished up the wiring. It took longer than expected. Since bikes have an "always on" low beam, we figured having an "always on" HID may be overkill. As a result, our "always on" low beam source is connected to the CCFL angel eyes, an external switch will be used to turn on the HID system and the factory high beam switch will actuate the high beam solenoid in the projector. As for the external switch, we used the Pilot Automotive PL-SW16 and set the HID on switch 1. It's a great external switch because it doesn't require you to drill to mount the switch panel.

We started the project on 2006 ZX-6R. So far the installation was a breeze. With VERY little dremel work, this is a true plug and play system. It's not quite finished but progressing nicely. Due to the size of the bixenon projector, we were able to retain the original reflector. Look a little more stock in my opinion than our last retrofit. Here are the pics thus far. The bike is approximately 30 feet away from the wall. Since the wiring isn't finished, I don't have any shots of the high beam and the built in CCFL angel eyes.

Let us know what you think. We're still looking for a CBR600RR.

This system will work on most bikes and cars. It uses a patent retention system that enables you to mount the projector using the headlight bulb size. If your headlight is big enough to house a 4.5 inch (length) by 3 inch (widest width of the whole projector), it'll fit.

We will need the entire bike to also do the wiring.

In the "straddle position picture" above is with both headlights on. Below is the picture of one headlight. Of course there is a noticeable difference but bright nonetheless.
