It's the shifter side shift fork from my 05 636.

Shitty part about the drum is I looked at the parts and I can't buy the shift drum alone, it comes as a set with the the shift star and some other shit :headshake

My guess is the parts are to blame, perhaps they could have been filed a little better or something of the likes. All transmissions will eventually run into this problem for the 05-06 ZX-6R "636" models.

Go to kawiforums and search thread title for "trans" or something similar and there are threads upon threads about this shit. Sad part is none of it is covered under any type of warranty, they rule it out as "rider abuse" Not that I have a warranty or anything but it really sucks when you have a new bike needing a trans rebuild after 3k miles :bs: BTW mine started slipping in second around 17k miles. 3rd owner

01-03 R6 was also known for having bad trans issues.

Well there you have it, just add to it here and tons of other Kawi sites, heck tell gixers and yamis, ducs.

Word will spread, 10 people, 20, 100, eventually thousands will become aware, out of that I am more than positive some where considering to buy a that year and make.

Word travels fast via the net and word of mouth.

Don't think Kawi would appreciate this much. Then grab a few links to the sites, and send an email to kawi and ask them to fix it or you will go to every site on the net related to bikes and have another thousand know and will cc bike shops too.

here on Zx-10, we reach the WHOLE WOLRD.

I am sure other sites hit the whole word.
I doubt kawi wants the WHOLE world knowing this and not doing anything.

my 2 cents.

I did a similar thing about rouge cops in Los Angeles county on varies sites naming them "The Nazi Regime", and now it has become a branded name for them all over the place. People who name called them or called them pigs or ftp are changing over to calling the "Th Nazi Regime" or FTNR instead of ftp.

Try it, it works

Static IP, Your a fool if you think Kawi is gonna fix this chit for me. To them it's purely "RIDER ABUSE"

And the rest of that stuff you were spitting out. . . eh I don't think Kawi gives 2 shits what I do and who I tell. They don't produce the 636 anymore so it's not like their gonna lose sales, only the guys who are trying to get rid of their 636's may have less of a buyer market. Like myself :BangHead:
