Question help with power tuning

Hi people, I've some doubt about what is the best to the zx6r 08/08. I think you can help me.

What is the best exhaust? what type of exhaust will give more power? how many hps?

what more I need to put, for the best power? filters, fuel injection mapping,...

thanks.

Depends on what you are doing with it? You can get max power at the expense of bottom end, but that would suck on the street. If you're racing, you'll still want some mid range too. It's all a compromise. The biggest number isn't always the one that matters.

No matter what exhaust you decide on, make sure you do the jumper mod also to your 6. We did that mod on my buddy's 07 ZX-6 and he said it improved the power big time. Here's the how to if you haven't done it already: http://www.bikeland.org/board/viewth...0730&set_time= This is for US spec bikes.

It's not to race use, I want a good adjust and more power to street use.

I intend to make more hps, because my bike is the smallest of my group.

I could be wrong but I've heard 9hp from the jumper mod, definitely worth it if that's the case.

Alright

First jumper mod without a doubt, +9 hp up top

Second exhaust for more power I recommend (in no specific order)+12hp with good tune
1) Full Akra Evo
2) Full Nassert Beet
3) Full Arata

Third PC III with good tune and full exhaust will wake the bike up completely.

Fourth KLEEN and PAIR mod. get rid of that junk, nit only will it smooth the bike out, "might add some HP" but more importantly will give you more accurate numbers for a dyno run which equals a better map.

I have all of these on my bike, I choose a Full Akra Evo but any of those three are by far top notch, do this and you will swear its not a 600!

Also as far as air filters go stick with the stock one, Kawasaki racing manual for the zx6rr calls for the stock air filter with just the metal screen removed.

Get some good oil, run some engine ice as coolant and you will be good.

Learn to outride your ridding buddies its hard to build enough Hp to outrun liter bikes with a 600 or get a zx10.
