Default ZX6R 05/06 exhaust questions.

Hey guys.

Im going to be picking up a 636 06 in a couple weeks and im after a loud exhaust, ive done quiet a bit of youtube searching but videos don't do justice to the exhaust notes so im after some feedback from people who have heared them in person.

Also i'd like to know how much does full system + air filter etc etc affects fuel usage?

All feedback and reviews are welcome.

Thanks in advance guys.

I was told Two Brothers is the loudest exhaust on the market. I had the opportunity to use both the Akrapovics and LeoVinces exhaust system and from experience, I loved how the LeoVince looks and sounds. Quality and finish was nothing less of perfection. Those Italians sure know how to make one hell of a system. However, being a full system it's not as loud as I thought it would be but then again, buddies that I ride with say it sounds like a jet. Anyways, I was lucky to find a brand new LeoVince Full Titanium Race system for 800 shipped.

Regarding fuel consumption, most sportsbike are so finely tuned from the factory, adding any "performance" be that it may help your bike breathe easier (ie, SO/full exhaust) will shift your EPA. We're so easily affected that even a slight weight difference will change your EPA.

Two Brothers is loud... it sounds like a freaking indy car! Akrapovic makes a street legal and a "racing" exhaust. I had the racing version on my 2005 636 and it sounded amazing, but still not quite as loud as the Two Bros.

I had a muzzys on my 636 and it was perfect i thought. It didn't make the ears bleed but you everyone knows you are there. Sounds like an F1 car

Is there a system out there that retains the exhaust valve?
