So i did my jumper mod two weeks ago and boy is there a big difference up top!! but every time i start it i get a clicking sound from the jumper connection. is that normal? its almost like an electrical zap/clicking from it engaging. also did anybody notice a difference down low after the jumper, it feels like i lost that snap hittin 9 grand.. or maybe im losin it
used a paper clip for the connection, sorry for all the questions guys but i have one more. I'm a newbie and was lookin to post some pics of her just cant figure it out. thanks alot for the help |

Well first off a paper clip isn't the way to go. I did this to a kids 08 and just a butt connector and just clipped the wires. At the same time we put on the Area P slip on and a PCIII and at around 14,000rpm he gained 23 hp, 10 hp peak with everything done. So anytime you can do a mod like that and gain that much hp anywhere it's a VERY good thing. If you own a 6R and modify it, the jumper mod should be your first.

yeah its prob the power jump, cause i cut it down to a staple size and insulated it with electrical tape so it wouldn't ground anywhere. I think ill try to redo it and get those connectors that fit in the holes and just use a piece of copper wire for the jump

i used a paper clip bent like a U and put electrical tape in the middle, works great, i really notice the mod when i am revving the piss out of the old bitch in the canyons
