Default Track tires for 636 (Novice/Intermediate rider)

About to order tires for my 636 track bike. I ride Novice group but will move to Intermediate soon. I know the Pirelli Corsa Pro is probably the most highly recommended tire but I'm not at the pace yet where I want to spend that kind of money.

I've been looking at 5 options - let me have your experience and opinions (unless they're of the "brand xxx sucks, get brand yyy" - I can't really use that for anything):

1) Conti SportAttack front and rear (have been using the SA's on my 10r on both street and track and like them a lot)
2) Conti SportAttack rear, Conti RaceAttack front (I've heard Conti is recommending this setup, but haven't seen any real-life stories about it)
3) Pilot Powers - plain and simple, lots of people use this ("you know, 'eat sh*t, a million flies can't be wrong' kinda thing")
4) Pilot Powers 2CT - is it worth it compared to the regular PP?
5) Bridgestone Battlax BT002 RS - read some good stuff about the 002's - anyone know first hand?

What say ye?

i have used almost every tire there is available, except the corsa,
the Bridgestone is a verry good tire, they last and give good grip,
i personally ride on the Dunlop D209 or the D211 ( new ones ) and i believe they are better than the pirellis, but the best will be if you can play around and get a tire that suits your riding style the best.
I had 1 set of pilot power race and where not to impressed by them as they tended to tear realy bad.

i would personaly go for the bridgestone for novice to intermediate riding,
they are cheap and give realy good feal and grip all round!!!!!!!!!

puls 1 on the bridgestones. Cheapest way to go.
I raced on the bridgestones and they stick really good. they show alot of wear but I ran low tire pressures that day.

I have used pilot powers and 2 cts on the track. Pilots in May and 2cts last Saturday. I ran my gixxer 1000 (my ZX10 is in the shop) and
the powers did fine. they held up and didnt slip.
All the tires you listed will get you through the day. You cant out ride those tires new. So try a brand and then switch and compare to narrow down what ya like.

Thanks guys. I'm going with the BT-002's this time and may try something different next time around. At $259 shipped for the pair it's pretty reasonable.

I used pilot powers till I started to spin them up and slide them everywhere. You will be able to tell when you are to switch tires
