2007 zx6r engine noise?
guy i work with bought a new 07 zx6r about 6 months ago. He had it serviced at 600 miles and had no problems, had frequent oil changes and had its last oil change at 4500 miles. Now he has 5800 miles, and it only does it when he first cranks the bike for the day. When first started it sounds as if the valves are rattling pretty loud. After it gets to temp it doesnt do it anymore. Has anybody had these problems or know about this? thanks

Yep, its a well known issue with this model. Has he had the oil leak from the head gasket yet? Mine is starting to make the noise as well not bad but you can hear it. I will be riding mine hard tomorrow on the track and we will see the out come and affects of the day and I will report back.

i will ask him tomorrow about the oil leak from the head gasket. thanks for heads up on tht also
