Great Looking bike

This was the first sports bike i bought back in 2003.
The sharp looks still amaze me, beautiful lines.

You can see the transition to the zx-10r (albeit the tank, which still looked zx9ish) in the designers mind.

I am looking for one to keep, although i have to admit that the 07-08 zx6's are better!!! Only if they could make them 636...

2003,2004 Kawi's best years so far imho!!

In '04 they beefed up the mid-range; powder coated the frame and gave it an adjustable swing arm. I tried looking for a low mileage one but gave up and found a new leftover. They were hard to get since they only made 500 of 'em. I had to drive 4 hours each way in October.....cold. My 4 freinds have the '07's and they are 35+ lbs heavier. They're nice bikes but a dime a dozen. I only do 1,000 miles a year on it.

I hear you.

I only gave mine up the minute i saw the 04 10R standing on the showroom floor!!! I gave it to a guy Friday morning, and by the afternoon he already crashed it.

I really miss that ram air roar !!!

love my little '04 zx6rr. bought a used one in japan with next to no miles on it. damn thing is a little monster when you wind it up into the upper revs. pulls like my 10 above 8k and has a transmission that shifts super quick and smooth. feels like butter. great bike, and i'll never sell mine either.
