It looks good but my opinion is when buying something like that especially a race bike, I would like to check it out first before I decide to buy it. It seems to have a bunch of quality parts, but the newest it could be is 2006 which is 2 years and a few racing seasons. Nice though, and if the price doesnt jump too much and the reserve isnt too high it may be worth it.

Did anybody notice that those two bikes are not the same? I truly believe those bikes are not the same bikes from certain attributes in the pictures.

Probably has 2 sets of #'s. One for club racing and one for AMA races? Dpends on what you would used it for racing wise? As an expert bike it's too old for most to want to buy. But as a novice bike it woud be great. Looks like he took the shock off and is selling it seperately, so you're going to need to spend $1000 to get a new shock on it. He does have the stock bodywork which you could sell for about 1k also. I would say about 8k is fair on it.

I understand what you're saying but the swingarms on both bikes are different. That's one of the things that had me wondering. And yeah I wouldn't go above 6000 for this bike personally but we'll see what happens. The guy wants 7800 for it but I doubt he gets that.

Since he has quality race parts on it AND the stock crap, he would make

more $$ parting it out ..... ( but time consuming..).

I doubt he'll gets his reserve ( $ 7800 ).

Ebay is not the best platform to sell good, well prep racebikes.

And the $$ commission they take on sales: :thefinger :thefinger
