What's the factory oil brand for the new ZX6R?

I've been searching and can't find an answer... :headshake
I'm trying to find out what oil brand kawasaki puts in their ZX6R's before they hit the showroom floor. I'm in need of an oil change and I'm not using synthetic blend until 1500-2000 miles. Please enlighten me! I got enough jokes that it was "kawasaki" oil but I don't think they use that.

Well I dont know where they get it from but it it kawasaki brand, if you go to the dealer I think it s called kawa chem or something like that.

It's just relabeled Motul I believe. But fwiw, you can save a lot of money by using some regular old car oil like quaker state for the break-in period.

I would think it's whatever the dealer has on hand...usually buy it by the barrel from what I understand and I know the Honda/Kawi dealer here does it that way.

Kawi does have their own brand like stated above...kawi chem but I would put any decent brand in till you switch to synthetic.

(You probably could use regular car oil to save money but I would spend the extra money for some decent Motorcycle specific oil...don't want any bad things to happen during the break in period. I would think spending maybe around $20.00 for the 4 liters or whatever compared to maybe $10.00 for car oil.)

dealer was trying to sell me some when i picked my bike up. talked about how it saves him money per quart. so i asked him how much (logical questoin). and he said "my price is different than yours".
but yes, he said its motul brand.
