No they aren't. Well the front is but the rear won't be a direct swap. I base this answer off of the people that have done this swap the other way around as in 05/06 rims onto an 03/04 bike. The rear requires some spacers for the brake rotor in this case.

Not sure why you would want to put 03/04 rims on an 05/06 anyhow, they aren't nearly as nice as the 05/06 versions.

^^^Thanks, I'm actually "sharing" the bike with a female racer. She has an 04 636 so it would make life easier if they could be swapped out easily.

I had a friend that tried to put 05 rims on a 04 would have required spacers and rotor swap. It was too much trouble for him so I got a extra set of wheels for my 07 for $200 I keep my slicks on them the 05-06 wheels will fit on the 07 but you have to use the cush drive and spacers from the 05-06 the front is a perfect fit.

Default Just to clarify

Hey Guys, new guy here with a question to clarify.

I'm going the other way around. I have a -03 and want to put a -05 rim on it in front. Already have an extra for the rear. Would that fit straight out of the box or would I need some modifications?

Thanks.
