Is this a good deal on this ZX-6R????

So I know a local guy that has a 2005 zx-6R with 9k miles on it.

The bike still looks brand new with new tires on it and it’s never been down. Has a micron slip on as well.

He was asking 7k for it but i got him down to 5k even. Should I pick the bike up from him or should I get him to come down off that price a little bit more? The interest off that loan is killing him which is why he can't keep the bike.

I'll provide better pics later but the bike is very clean and was maintained.

I was thinking either a good stunt bike or an exclusive track bike and leave the 10R for the street.

Tell me what you think guys. Should I buy it for 5k or try and get him lower although I don't think he'll budge.

not sure how good of a deal that is. 5k aint bad but 4500 sounds better.

Honestly I thing he would be a fool to sell you that bike for $4500, but if he does keep us updated. Hell I would buy it for $5000.

take 5000 cash and offer him 4500 in crisp new 100s and i bet you he will take it but if he doesnt then give him 5000 cause thats still a deal

I just bought a 06 ZX10R with 110 miles on it for $7700.00 in FL. Hard to find good low miles bikes especially in FL. I think a bike is worth what you would pay and feel good about later. Buying with thought of resale and making your mioney back is a pipe dream. After mods.customizations etc. you never get your money back. Just my .02.
