Default Ergonomics?? 06R 07R

Hi guys

First time posting on the zx6r section :hello:

Im 6'1, 240 and asking if any "taller" guys have ridden 06 and 07 zx6r. Which one feels more comfortable? (on street)
Just thought I get some feedback.

Thanks.

Its quite funny asking if a sport/superbike is comfortable... none the less the 06 zx6 will be more comfortable for the street. The 07 zx6 is far more track oriented although I have no troubles with comfort on my 07. I think I'm around 5'8

The 05/06 6R is somewhat catered towards taller riders, unlike the 04/05 10r, or 06-current r6s etc. Can't say I remember how the 07/08 6rs felt....

I had an 03 ZX6R, and compared to the 07, it was no where near as comfortable. The 07 sits you upright more. The reach to the bars seems more relaxed, the stock suspension is more plush (but equally as firm, if not more so). Even compared to my 06 ZX10R, the 07 ZX6R is more comfortable by a very noticeable amount. I rode the 07 for a couple of weeks before track prepping it, so this isn't just a track point of view. If only the 6 had more low end power, I would think about getting a second one for the street.

I had a 06 and now a 07. Havent tracked the 07 yet but the 06 was a more comfortable ride on the street than my 07.
