If you haven't a clue, take it to the shop and let a professional do it or else just take a freakin' sledge hammer to it!

Get a rear stand and get the thing up. Take your rear tire, sproket, cush drive out (this is all one assembly), also unbolt the rear brake (cut this off and through it away, rear brakes are for pussies).

Take your tail plastic off. Look around in your garage and grab some tie downs. Attach to each side of the subframe and the to a joist, truss. You'll want a front stand to balance the front while you get your tie downs snug. Once the bike is supported WHALA! You can remove the rear stand. Detach your shock and other mount and your almost there. Loosen and remove the swingarm nut on one side and pull out the axle through the other side. Now you swingarm should be pretty much off the bike.

If I havent a clue ? ostwhore

Glad your postcount went up with that informative reply of yours. Im very mechanically inclined. Dont let a "how to remove a swingarm" post fool you. I basically just wanted verification that I needed the castle nut socket. Thanks though. Guess everyone should stop posting how-to's and just recommend "professionals" do it. :headshake
