why cant i post?

can anybody tell me why i cant post new threads on the parts for sale forum, is there some extra registration or something

Members must be registered for 30 days and have 25 posts in order to create a new thread in the Classifieds forum. Please don't start bitching if you make post #25 and a minute later post #26 won't show up in the classifieds. The data base needs to update and "promote" your status, this should happen about once an hour.

I joined back in 04 and never got into .net and still cant add a post. now I have added an 08 to my collection and need the feed back from others on how to get it up to what we all expect the 3rd gen to run.
