Last minute Ram upgrade to the server - tonight at 7:30pm-8:00pm CENTRAL
Hey,
I just got word (nothing like the last second), that the site is going down tonight at 7:30 or 8:00pm tonight (central time & I am not sure what that translates into  Its just a ram upgrade that should hopefully stop the nightly crashes on the server & give us more capacity (mysql is currently set for 150 instead of 300). We are doing the ram upgrade to see if that is the issue with the database crashing. Sorry for the last minute notice, but it should only be down for a few minutes. It might be down a little longer (though I cant figure out why) but I wanted to give everyone a heads up. Thanks, Rich

Yes, Rich does what he can to help but we always need members help as well or feedback from time to time. It's 10:00pm PST. right now for me but at 1:02am this site always experiences a slowdown to the point where you can't log-on this site or refresh new screens for many minutes.
Last night it was Down almost 2hrs and I had to wake Rich up, so this may be the cure. If I am not around at that time can some of you that are up post in this section that knows of the hiccup at that time let us know on this Thread if it's better, Good to go, or no change. PS..if you notice anything else that maybe is out of the ordinary as well let us know. Thanks, bloo |
