Admittedly, I've just joined this forum to shop for a shock for my SV, but figured I'd make a suggestion which would probably improve the quality of interactions in the For Sale subforum. On many forums (I've been around the intarwebs for a long time), sellers are required to post an asking price with their items. This is a very good idea as it eliminates bidding (save that stuff for Ebay) and also lets potential buyers know roughly how much a seller wants for an item instead of forcing buyers to keep throwing out offers until the dollar amount reaches the seller's desired value. It does still allow for negotation if the seller is flexible on their asking price. It also makes it clear up front if the seller is asking a reasonable price or shooting for the moon.
What do you guys think?

What was in my sig was a WTB, which is "wanted to buy". I'm not trying to sell anything here--I'm shopping for a couple of ZX10 shocks for my SVs. (I certainly understand the need to not allow new posters to start posting FS threads--gotta have a shakedown period to make sure the person isn't a scammer or spammer..)
