Section for Manufacturers Discussion?

Has there ever been any thoughts about a section to discuss other manufacturers?
It could be a section to organize posts about new models, comparisons, etc.

Example:
I want to start a thread about the new Ducati 848. But right now there isn't a real clear place for it.

What do you think?

Yes there has been discussion in the past but nothing ever became of it so my suggestion would be to use the off-topic section for your thread.

i agree with doughboy. You don't have to have individual manufacturers forums but one "Other Manufacturers" sub forum would be cool.
