Default Another about NWS

I think that it would be a great idea to have the option in the User CP for users to "hide" the thread.

By default, it could be visible for all members, but also have the capabilty to hide it...

Just my .02.

That's a great idea...I'd like to have the option to hide the section as well like the signatures and avatars.

on that.

It's also not cool when there is a NWS poll on the homepage.
Not interested in having my kids walk through the den and seeing a poll on "What's your favorite sexual position" right there on the homepage.:headshake

That would be a great idea! I've had to lay low because of -- between the NWS posts and revealing avatars, to the passer-by, just cruis'n the site makes one look like a perv.

i keep avatars and sigs turned off for some of the above reasons...just go to your user cp under avatars turn them off...sometimes i miss the pics but i like checking the site from work sometimes and not worrying about someone standing behind me viewing some the more revealing or animated avatars.

Like Pongo said its under user cp, and then edit options. half way down the page you will see this area. uncheck these boxes and you should be good to go.
