Quote feature not working for me???

Lately when I quote someone their name doesn't show up only the text from their quote. Now tonight I tried to quote someone in the test section and I get an error message that reads "The message you entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 1 characters"

Here is how I've been doing it.

I have deleted my cookies, I have logged out and signed back in. ???

look at that, it added the quote but it didn't add who quoted it.

I had lots of problems like that when I was using the FROST_THIN back ground screen. Go to the bottom of the page, on the left hand side, and switch to GREENAPPLE. That cured my problems.

I tried using different backgrounds, but it didn't help. I found out why I was getting the error message. I still can't figure out why I don't get the name of the person I am quoting. Thanks for the suggestion MY oo ITCH.:mrgreen:

Are you using the quote button from the thread under each persons post or are you copying the persons text and using the quote in the advanced reply?

I was coping the persons text and adding the quotes and brackets myself, it use to work. This time I used the quote button.

Problem solved. I will use the quote button from now on. I wonder why it stopped working the way I use to do it??

If you hit edit you can see how it needs to be Brackets with QUOTE=whoever and end with the slash QUOTE in brackets.
