Default jumper mod yes or no?

ok so ive been searching non stop to find out the whole story about this jumper mod for my 05 zx6r. so i just bought my zx6r a month ago and it currently only has a akro slip on. ive been reading up alot about the jumper mod and mostly what im getting is it changes it so the exhaust valve flapper does not close during higher revs so you keep the power up top. considering i no longer have this exhaust valve since i have a akro slip on this mod should not do anything, but ive been reading some people saying it will and some saying it wont, getting very confusing. if it in fact does make a difference with my akro then it obviously is changing something other than keeping a valve that i no longer have open longer. anyone have some insight on what the full story of this mod is? and also wont getting a power commander be able to take care of any "detuning" the us spec ecu is doing? so if i get a custom pc tune then i wont have any advantage or increase in hp with the jumper mod correct? or does the mod also enhance the gain ill receive from the custom pc tune?

bump for anyone who can give me some insight. ive also been seeing people with full aftermarket exhausts and slip on's with the jumper mod so it must do something more than just control that valve.

AKAIK the jumper mod only improves things up above 13K RPM's, and the difference was most pronounced on the 07-08 models. Depending on what kind of riding you do, it may or may not be a worthwhile mod. But hey, it's free HP, so why not?

yes i know this but this still does not answer my question. since from what i heard the jumper mod only makes it so the valve will stay open above 13k instead of closing but since i no long have this valve (hence the akro slip on) will i gain anything with the jumper mod? ive seen people with pcIII, aftermarket exhaust, and jumper mod which leads me to believe this mod does more than just controls that valve.

It's also said to change the ignition timing as well. A PCIII to deal with fuel management is still a good upgrade.

Ok here's the deal. I have a zx6r 05 akro , bmc airfilter, pcIII, and a coldair intake. After hearing about the jumper mod I did it to my bike. Nothing changed after doing research and talking to my Kawasaki racing tech friends. With the mods I have done with the bike. It doesn't work. It's basically works only on a stock bike and only gives you more power at the top end. If your wanting more pure power and better performance the jumper mod it not what you want. I build bikes and performance is what I specialize in. You need to remember an engine is basically an air pump. So the more air you can get in it and the faster you can get it out the more power you will get. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
