Default C1H Exhaust Butterfly Valve Actuator

Hey guys

Sorry if this has been discussed already but i could not find it.
i bought a C1H ZX6R with one owner before me i was aware that this bike had a scorpion exhaust can, but recently my FI light came on so i had a look at the bike and found that my exhaust butterfly sensor had stopped moving , being normally when i turn the ignition it moves eigher testing to setting setting up.
when i had a look at the manual it was a different type of wheel on the top there was no cables or anything so i am thinking maybe its a full system so they have been removed and this wheel has been put on to stop the FI light coming on , but now i am stuck with it on due to the wheel stops moving but when i take it off the sensor moves and light goes out .So i am guessing i should get a new wheel part with the lips on it ? but i am having trouble finding it being i dont think its a kawasaki spares part most likely aftermarket.Anyone know where i can get one or have a way of sovling the issue?

Thanks

Default butterfly exhaust valve actuator

Hi, I am from South Africa. What you are referring to is the servo motor. If the bike has a slip on or a full after market exhaust, then there should be no butterfly exhaust actuator. The servo motor is serving no purpose at all. Your F1 light will continue coming on unless you completely remove it and buy a "servo motor eliminator". This is an "electrical part" and I have seen on the web that there is a company called "Ivans" that can supply this part. It simply connects to the wiring that would normally connect to the servo motor and "cheats" the CPU into thinking that there still is a servo motor. This is your best option. Google this part and i'm sure you will find it in the USA. I also want to put a Yoshi/Two Brothers/Leo Vince slip on, but can't find this part in South Africa. All the best.
