FI light indicates that the engine immobiliser is on. It should flash intermittently for 24hrs then turn itself off.

Hi, I am new to this site and am from South Africa. I have an 06 zx636. I have tried sending you a private msg but don't know if you got it. However, to sum up, the F1 light is your "Fault" light and must never be ignored if it stays on. Get your bike to a Kawasaki dealer or shop or mechanic that can diagnose the fault. They will be able to pick up the fault number and cross reference it with their service manual and tell you exactly what the fault is.

Or you can put it into diagnoses mode and count the flashes and look it up
yourself and save some money.
