It felt just like the bike was running out of gas in gears 1 through 3 between 8 and 10,000 rpm. This is a safety issue and KHI and the NHTSB needs to know about it, I don't feel safe riding the bike anymore. Does anyone have any information that may help here, these bikes have been out for over one and a half years now, surely Kawasaki must know something by now?

I have read that a Power Commander will fix it.
However, I don't believe most cases are that severe.
Is it something you can replicate?
If so, I would take it to a dealer, explain to them how to replicate the problem and let them experience it for themselves.
